Headed up to petaluma to visit with some friends who are here visiting from North Carolina.

We started out with a little hike in Jack London State Park. 

then we went out to lunch and got some amazing wine county chocolates:

we did some wine tasting and then some wine drinking.  It was a fun day and so good to see our friends and their kid :)

My mom's birthday was on the 10th so we threw a little party for her.  (with a tart even :)

Shasta broke what would be her thumb nail.  We went to the vet where they put her under and removed her nail.  So she got a bandage, antibiotics, and pain pills. poor dog:

it has some really nice clear glass (it's thick though so it was a pain in the ass to cut):

Took a bike ride and came across this funny pier... I don't think that fence will keep anone out (but you'd have to be pretty stupid to go out on that pier):
